摘要： An additive for imparting antiwear properties to a lubricant composition is based on a combination of (1) an organo borate ester composition and (2) one or more sulfur-or phosphorus-containing compounds or a non-sulfur molybdenum compound. The sulfur-or phosphorus-containing compounds are dithiocarbamate, bisditiocarbamate, 1,3,4-diathiazole, phosphoroditioate, phosphoroditioate esters, and the molybdenum compound is prepared by reacting (a) about 1.0 mole of fatty oil having 12 or more atoms (b), about 1.0 to 2.5 moles diethanolamine and (c) a molybdenum source.

Furthermore, a method is disclosed for preparation of polyurethane foams from polyols and polyisocyanate that have reduced discoloration due to scorch by adding diphenylamino methylbenzotriazole or compositions of benzotriazole and secondary aromatic amine as scorch inhibitors to the polyol, foaming the polyol and curing.

摘要： The present invention provides an improved curing system for halogenated elastomers, as well as blends thereof with more highly unsaturated elastomers, using an organopolysulfide derivative of 2,5-dimercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole as a curing agent. These polysulfides are particularly effective for the cure of compositions containing halogenated copolymers of a C₄ to C₇ isoolefin and para-alkylstyrene, leading to fast, low reversion cures even after extended elevated temperature exposure, while providing improved scorch safety and improved adhesion properties.
